What is royal jelly?

Royal jelly, also known as queen bee food, is produced by worker bees to feed the queen bee. It is a creamy, whitish secretion with a slightly tart taste. Its composition includes water, proteins, sugars, fats, B-complex vitamins, and trace elements. Each batch is unique, as the exact composition can vary depending on the bee colony and its environment. Our pure royal jelly is subject to strict quality controls and is certified organic.

Storage & Use

Once opened, the organic royal jelly should be stored in a cool place and used within six weeks. Royal jelly has a longer shelf life when stored in the freezer. We ship the royal jelly in a frozen state in a thermal bag. The royal jelly will thaw during shipping. Upon receipt of the organic royal jelly, the product should be placed directly in the refrigerator or freezer. The ideal storage temperature is 0–5°C. Store it in an airtight container made of dark glass.

For daily consumption, we recommend letting a small amount (approx. 1 g) of royal jelly melt on your tongue. Alternatively, it can be mixed with honey or yogurt. Please note that royal jelly should not be consumed if you have a known allergy to bee products.

Please note: We ship royal jelly exclusively Monday through Wednesday, as we store it frozen and ship it with ice packs so that it arrives thawed but still cool.

Important Information

Do not use royal jelly if you have a known intolerance or allergy to it. If an allergic reaction occurs, you must stop using the product immediately. Keep out of reach of children.
