How to use beeswax ear candles correctly
Prepare a room atmosphere that is comfortable for you. Place a small bowl of water and an ear spoon within reach. Now lie comfortably flat on your side. Only lay your head down so that the ear canal is in a vertical position. In order to enjoy the application properly and in a relaxed manner, it is advisable to have someone else carry out the application.
Please only ever light the ear candles on the longer part. With a careful twisting motion, the candle is now placed with the non-burning side close to the outer ear canal and inserted two to a maximum of five millimeters .
Allow the ear candle to burn until just before the red mark. The rest can now be extinguished in the bowl of water provided. Then repeat the application on the other ear. During the burning process, you will hear a soft, pleasant hissing and crackling sound.
You can now use the ear spoon to remove any condensation residue and earwax from the outer ear canal of both ears. Do this carefully and make sure that the residue is not pushed into the ear canal.
Now lie comfortably on your back and press gently on your ears with the flat of your hands to achieve a comfortable pressure equalization of the middle ear. If you wish, rest for another 20 to 30 minutes.

Tip 1: To make the ear candles slide more easily into the ear canal, you can apply a little oil to the lower part (approx. 5 mm) of the ear candles before lighting them.
Tip 2: You can insert a few fibers of absorbent cotton from the cotton bud into the bottom of the ear candles. Just enough so that you can still see through it. Alternatively, you can use a paper filter. This will prevent so much coarse condensation from entering the ear canal.
Important instructions for use
Do not use in the case of perforated eardrums, ear implants (e.g. tympanic tubes), purulent and highly inflammatory processes, fungal infections in and around the external auditory canal and allergic reactions when using ear candles.Generally observe the safety guidelines for handling naked flames. Only apply ear candles to the ear canal with the non-burning side!
