Did you know that? Gingerbread and honey cake are actually the same thing! The original Lebkuchen was traditionally sweetened with honey, as this does not crystallize and has a long shelf life. Thanks to a high blossom honey content of 23%, our Lebkuchen remains authentic and does not contain glucose syrup or other honey substitutes. What you taste here is a genuine, handmade cookie - delicately sweet and full of honey flavor.
