What is royal jelly?

Royal jelly, also known as royal jelly, is produced by worker bees to feed the queen bee. It is a creamy, whitish secretion with a slightly sour taste. Its composition includes water, proteins, sugars, fats, B-complex vitamins and trace elements. Each batch is unique, as the exact composition can vary depending on the bee colony and environment. Our pure royal jelly is subject to strict quality controls and is certified organic.

Storage & use

Once opened, organic royal jelly should be stored in a cool place and used within six weeks. Royal jelly will keep longer in the freezer. We ship the royal jelly frozen in a thermal bag. The royal jelly is thawed during shipping. After receiving the organic royal jelly, the product should be placed directly in the refrigerator or freezer. The ideal storage temperature is 0-5°C. Store it in an airtight container in dark glass.

For daily consumption, we recommend allowing a small amount (approx. 1 g) of royal jelly to melt on the tongue. Alternatively, it can also be mixed with honey or yogurt. Please note that royal jelly should not be consumed by people with known allergies to bee products.

Please note: We only send royal jelly on Mondays to Wednesdays, as we store it frozen and send it with cooling pads so that it can arrive thawed and still cool.

Important notes

It must not be used if you have a known intolerance or allergy to royal jelly. If allergic reactions occur, the product must be discontinued immediately. Keep out of the reach of children.
