Sweet chestnut honey is an exceptional type of honey in many respects. Its flavor is very intense, not dominated by sweetness, but by tart, delicately bitter nuances that make it a real delicacy. It tastes particularly good in combination with savory dishes, for example on a strong hard cheese or on bread combined with salted butter.
